What a terrible production. The format was so bad. It was treated more like a party rather than an prestigious awards night. I laughed when Jess Mauboy said ‘debutt’ not once but twice. There were so many awkward moments between the presenters. A lot of the artists didnt even know where to go when they won an award and Powderfinger had no idea what category they had won for their first award of the night. Very disappointed channel 10.
It fell flat on its face when they tried to make jokes, just play it straight next time. Megan Washington’s performance was brilliant.
Sorry to be negative when it comes to local talent.
But the 2010 ARIAS were the worst awards show I have ever seen.
Pure embarrassment.
Where were the superstars of the mainstream ? ( at least Guy finished the show )
Happy for the up and coming artists, but this is not the forum to recognise them
Oh dear
Wow how bad was that. Sia looked like a bag lady, C31 would have provided better production values, Mauboy thinks a debut album is a “debutt” album, no proper tribute to James Freud and I want some of what Angus & Julia Stone were on.
Aren’t Dylan and Nat Bass meant to be the hosts? It sure seems like Rebel Wilson has been given the main gig
Very messy night.
Talk about a dog’s breakfast.
Please don’t put Rebel Wilson in front of a camera ever again.
Worst program so far this decade, and probably won’t be beaten.
Oh dear. How crap is the Aria awards? Ronan Kaeting and Marcia Hines just came on and no one clapped. Who is running this show? A High School production is run with more professionalism.
Theres 2 hours I wont ever get back !!
This is the Worst aria’s Ever. This is Australia’s most Prestigious music awards and Channel ten is treating it like it’s New Years Eve. Very Disappointed Channel ten.
I hope Gaga wins.
x factor would have been taped on saturday night i wont be watching this one it looks like a big bore, go kylie for best female who are the others??
X Factor is live tonight.
Sh*t even i could put out a single and be nominated lol music industry is so lacking of variety and or something lol
I do wonder how Guy and Ronan are being involved in this, it would have already started while they’re still on X Factor.
Sorry, I was told this was on last weekend, my mistake.
Maybe it they got the DeLorean from Doc Brown they could jump back in time LOL
Errr….Bob Katter? Really?
Good to see Dylan Lewis hosting. Dylan is so funny! Still remember him on Video Hits and Celebrity Big Brother years ago. Good Luck Dylan and also Guy Sebastian.
All we now hoping that Ten won’t be installing some silly subliminal ads like in ARIAs, as it was exposed by the ABC show Media Watch.
lara bingle as a presenter. gawd someone is desperate for work
It’s expected an ARIA Awards souvenir magazine will be inserted into The Sunday Age in Victoria and The Sun-Herald in NSW and ACT this weekend, as in previous years.
@Craig – Because it’s on Sunday night??
Ten are pretty talented but I don’t think they can jump forward into the future, record the ARIA’s and then jump back and show it the weekend before.
Dylan looks like Jemaine Clement in that photo. Got excited for a second there!
Yolanda be cool?R they serious?Good grief.
If you want to hear a great definitive version of this tune, YouTube Jude Law & Matt Damon peforming it in The Talented Mr Ripley.
Yet again persons whom have zero to do with our industry are invited as “guest”.New look Arias my butt. When is this unecessary import of os “stars” going to stop. How about having some musicians on instead?
Why wasn’t this shown last weekend?
