Tropfest will again have a live broadcast on Movie Extra, hosted by Adam Spencer and Julia Zemiro.

Tropfest will again have a live broadcast on Movie Extra this Sunday night, hosted by Adam Spencer and Julia Zemiro.

Zemiro, a two time Tropfest best actress award winner, and Spencer will chat to the A-List guests, filmmakers and celebrity judges. Movie Extra hosts Lizzy Lovette and James Tobin will cover the red carpet.

In its 19th year Tropfest’s signature item which must appear in all films is “Key.”

John Polson, Director and Founder of Tropfest says, “Year on year Tropfest delivers some of the best short films to Australian crowds and this year we‟re offering up some of Australia’s biggest personalities to keep the festivities alive. Julia and Adam will make people watching the broadcast at home feel like they’re right in amongst the action, and I’m ecstatic the Baby Animals are closing festival night.”

7.15pm AEDT: The Movie Extra Tropfest Prequel 2011 will commence hosted by Lizzy Lovette, presenting the three finalist films of the Telstra Mobile Masterpieces.

7.30pm AEDT: The exclusive live broadcast of Movie Extra Tropfest 2011, featuring the 16 finalist films, live entertainment and the awards ceremony.

  2. @DC. crossing the line as in the “180 degree rule” @3.30 sec the mother and the boyfriend and girlfriend are looking left. mother shouldve been looking right.. just a technical thing or maybe it was a creative decision

  4. Hey Guys! A short film I wrote,directed,produced&star in for Tropfest called
    One Night Stand has being shortlisted for tropfest 2011 for the public vote to be the 16th finalist!
    Please Support an underdog film in the competition & low budget film making by giving it the green thumbs up that comes up when u click the bottom of the screen to get it into the finals to be shown on Sunday! It’s got no budget and no big name actors like most of the others so needs all the help it can get to have a shot!!
