FEB 23
UNKNOWN – stars Liam Neeson, January Jones and Frank Langella. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. A mystery thriller where a man wakes up from a coma to find his wife doesn’t appear to know who he is, and another man has assumed his identity.

I AM NUMBER FOUR – stars Alex Pettyfer, Theresa Palmer and Timothy Olyphant. Directed by D.J. Caruso. John is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed … he is ‘Number Four’.

CONVICTION – stars Hilary Swank and Sam Rockwell. Directed by Tony Goldwyn. A working mother puts herself through law school in an effort to represent her brother, who has been wrongfully convicted of murder and has exhausted his chances to appeal his conviction through public defenders.

THE WAY BACK – stars Colin Farrell, Ed Harris and Jim Sturgess. Directed by Peter Weir.

‘DVD CLASSIC’: David reviews the 1955 film THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER – A religious fanatic marries a gullible widow whose young children are reluctant to tell him where their real daddy hid $10,000 he’d stolen in a robbery. Directed by Charles Laughton and starring Robert Mitchum, Shelley Winters and Lillian Gish.

THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU – staring Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and Terrence Stamp. Directed by George Nolfi. The affair between a politician and a ballerina is affected by mysterious forces keeping the lovers apart.

WASTED ON THE YOUNG – Starring Oliver Ackland, Alex Russell and Adelaide Clemens. When a high school party goes dangerously off the rails, one teenager finds that revenge is just a computer click away.

INCLUDES INTERVIEW WITH WRITER/DIRECTOR BEN LUCAS.

THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET’S NEST – stars Michael Nyquist, Noomi Rapace, Lena Endre. Directed by Daniel Alfredson. The last film of Stieg Larsson’s trilogy. Lisbeth Salanderis recovering in a hospital and awaiting trial for three murders when she is released. Mikael must prove her innocence, but Lisbeth must be willing to share the details of her sordid experiences with the court.

‘DVD CLASSIC’: Margaret reviews the 1979 film ALL THAT JAZZ. Directed by Bob Fosse and starring Roy Scheider, Jessica Lange and Leland Palmer. Director/choreographer Bob Fosse tells his own life story as he details the sordid life of Joe Gideon (Roy Scheider), a womanizing, drug-using dancer.

It airs 10pm Wednesdays on ABC1.

    Anyone know what they thought of “Conviction”?
    I really want to see it.

    I’ve seen “Unknown” and “Hereafter” and wish I didn’t see either. lol
