Seven’s Kitchen ruling

Seven's My Kitchen Rules that is emerging as one of the hits of the first week of ratings.

As we pass the halfway mark for the first week of ratings it is Seven’s My Kitchen Rules that is emerging as one of the hits of the week.

Last night it was the #1 show for the week with 1.4m viewers, beating The Biggest Loser on 950,000 and The Big Bang Theory / Mike and Molly (884,000 / 882,000). The 7:30 Report / The New Inventors pulled 651,000 / 570,000.

That also enabled Seven to move into a nice 8:30 position with Criminal Minds (1.13m) over The Farmer Wants a Wife (891,000), Adam Hills In Gordon Street Tonight (889,000), Blue Bloods (701,000) and Big Love (156,000).

At 9:30pm RPA Where Are They Now? won its slot on 744,000 ahead of City Homicide (663,000), House (644,000), and Laid / At The Movies (608,000 / 405,000).

For those wanting to compare the results for Adam Hills against Ben Elton, Hills pulled twice the audience in an earlier timeslot.

Seven won another night.

  1. 9 or 10 needs to bring Come Dine with Me to the mainstream, then views can really see what a great cooking show is. It’s lighthearted, fun and most importantly, it doesn’t take itself too seriously.

  2. As I posted in Ratings:
I am disappointed that MKR is rating so well.
That lead to a great lead in for Criminal Mind (US) when Farmer and Gordon St (both OZ) didn’t rate as highly. Gordon St was a great mix of interviews and light entertainment!
Hey Ch7 viewers, you can change channels and watch other great shows!!
(Nothing agianst 7 as I watch all channels, but would prefer ppl not watch what I consider sub standard shows).
