“Exhausted” Judge Judy hospitalised

Production has halted on Judge Judy after Judge Judith Sheindlin, 68, was taken by ambulance to a Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Wednesday.
“The judge was feeling nauseous and had some intestinal discomfort and decided to go to the hospital to get it checked out,” her representative told tells RadarOnline.com. ”
“They are keeping her overnight for tests.”
Sheindlin tells TMZ, “I’m just exhausted, and my body was telling me it needed a day to chill.”
“I’m really fine. I wanted to go back to work this afternoon,” adding, “I’m exhausted. I’m just tired. A lot of things just zoned together, including the bad news of the world.
Good to hear she is ok. No word on whether her hospital gown had those lacy frills.
She resumes shooting her show on April 12th.
Update: “I am on my way home. All is well,” she tells ET. “Thank you all for your loving messages. See you in court. Be on time.”

Love Judge Judy. Can’t believe she’s only 68, she must have started the show in her mid 50s.
@steveany, yep, when I dislike someone, I’m not exactly backward in coming forwards! I can’t bear her over-the-top bullying and belittling of the defendants that appear before her.
Judge Judy is awesome! I have read her books and she makes a whole lot of sense! She really should stand for politics, she would be great.

Often her decisions,and her manner in court , are ridiculous..but then again it is a small claims court with no right of appeal.

68 is hardly ready for the glue factory! I like her, she is one smart and perceptive dame – she is the one everybody else copies. I hope she gets back to the studio quick sticks and ignores the baloney that some of the Judy bashers come out with. JJ rules!

Iam not surprised at this she is old probably one of the most oldest tv personalities on the box. Iam amazed that her show is still going on. Maybe its time for her to hang up her gavel and retire to hawai.
Jeez @Allie, you must really loathe her – you’re normally such a measured and considerate writer and thus your vehemence is surprising.
I for one don’t mind the occasional dose of old Judge Judy and her bulky sidekick Burt, as they hand out harsh justice to the terminally stupid. I think the best natured of us would get a little cranky dealing with such an unending stream of nitwits.

Well, it sounds like Allie is a fan 😉 Take it easy, Judge Judy. I love her show and while she can be grumpy at times, she seems to be a nice lady. You can’t blame her being rude some of the time. Hope she does many more shows in the future.
