Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen: teaser

It's a family affair next Tuesday, and by the looks of this clip -an absolute hoot.

It’s a family affair for Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation next Tuesday.

Amanda Keller and her husband Harley Oliver (Baby Boomers) take on Charlie Pickering and his sister Suzie Pickering (Gen X), and Josh Thomas and his 83 year old grandmother Mona Hale (Gen Y). Completing the family love-in are Charlie’s parents (Pamela and Ron Pickering) and Amanda’s kids (Liam and Jack) who make a surprise appearance on the show.

And by the looks of this clip it’s going to be an absolute hoot.

  1. So-t.v has stooped to an all time low. Since when has it been funny to watch a defenceless old lady be humiliated in public? Smart alec Mecallef sure showed his lack of respect and Josh whats his name must be desperate for laughs. She’s 83! Use your brains (obviously lacking in that department)-What if she were to have had a heart attack?Who’s laughing then? Our family won’t be watching this rubbish again.Hope the brave old lady is o.k and got a fat pay cheque from channel 10.

  2. I think Josh Thomas is so weak to let his Grandmother cop this. And equally so Amanda and Charlie for looking on and not going to her rescue. Humiliation of the elderly is not entertainment guys.

  3. I’ve seen the video twice now and I think it is hilarious. Josh’s grandmother is so brave too. Good on her.
Can’t wait to see this episode.

  4. I saw the ad where they obviously do the trust me game and Josh’s grandma cops stuff on her and Shaun says to Josh you and I are going to hell. I reckon this will be a pretty funny ep.

I like when they have there family members on. The last one was really good.

  5. Not being in australia at the moment i cant see the clip, but i imagine Mona was meaning something like “I [have to] have faith in josh … because he is such an idiot i cant honestly believe we have any chance.”

  6. Mona: “I have faith in Josh”

Josh (and everyone else in studio): uncontrollable laughter.

Me: Faith in Josh… You’ve never watched this show, have you Mona?

  7. @ David Knox, Kylie – I know it’s first run, but it’s the same idea recycled, only without the novelty that it had the first time round. Reminds me of Rove’s ‘Kristy At The News Desk’ segment.

  8. ? Man and Tasmanian Devil – So??? That was different family members, And it was hilarious!

Why not try it again with other family members.
