SBS will play its 20th broadcast of the FA Cup Final from Wembley Stadium with Live coverage in eastern States next month.
Stoke City, in their first-ever FA Cup Final, will meet Manchester City who make their first finals appearance since losing to Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 in 1981.
Stoke registered a historic 5-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers in their semi-final, the best winning margin in 72 years. Manchester City beat out cross town rivals Manchester United in its semi-final.
Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart who made a series of important saves throughout the semi-final clash with Manchester United, will be a key player in the final. Hart will face Stoke City’s two-goal hero Jon Walters, who is determined to continue to prove critics wrong and carry his team’s impressive form through to finals day.
SBS’s live coverage of the 2011 FA Cup Final will be hosted by The World Game’s Les Murray with expert analysis from SBS Senior Football Analyst, Craig Foster, SBS Football Analysts and former Socceroos David Zdrilic, and Ned Zelic. FA Premier League commentator Martin Tyler will be joined by ex Arsenal star Stuart Robson in commentary.
Coverage of the Final will commence prior to kick off and will include all the colour and excitement from the match build up at Wembley and performances by former X Factor star Stacey Solomon, and three piece vocal group Tenors Unlimited who will sing the FA Cup hymn ‘Abide with Me’.

Ok kick off is 12 midnight AEST. But the broadcast starts at 10:30pm East Coast, 10pm SA and 9:45pm WA. So the match itself is live everywhere but the lead in broadcast differs for WA.
No way is it delayed into WA. Not a chance. Can you double-check David, I am 99% certain they would shows it live into Perth.
Does this mean its not live in Perth?!
Absolutely ridculous! Its the bloody FA cup final..and its not live!
Excellent.
I love the FA Cup Final, and I always enjoy SBS’s excellent and respectful coverage of the game. There’s always a detailed build-up as well as time for the traditions such as the National Anthem and Abide with Me.
Let’s hope we get a good final.
Ned Zelic (and Mark Bosnich on Fox Sports) must be the amongst the most annoying people on TV. Surely only their rellies would disagree. Hand-grenade thrown…
This could be the same night they show the eurovision semi-final as well, nice line up!
