Last night Mark Little appeared as a rather blokey Aussie in the UK series Whites, featuring Alan Davies.
But the name of his character was one ‘Daryl Somers.’
Cheeky bugger…..
Whites has its final episode on ABC1 at 8:30pm next Thursday.

I laughed so hard I snorted when the obnoxious aussie character introduced himself as Somers – absolutely hilarious!! I thought I knew the voice, but could not place the face – Good ole Mark Little – I miss the heady days of Recovery!

Love this series. Shame it’s been axed by the BBC after one series. Here’s an excuse for the ABC and a local production company to take it on. Am sure Alan Davies would be keen.

i might write a tv show and name my american character brad pitt and his wife can be angelina jolie…i promise it is just a coicidence.
pitt and jolie are common american surnames so that’s why i chose them
I didn’t make the name connection when I watched it but I thought the character was great. Excellent!
Whites is really picking up steam after a rather uncertain start, the last couple of episodes have been very good indeed. Is there going to be a second series?

It’s written by Matt King who is the co-star of Spirited with Claudia Karvan, so he knows Australia well!
