Rachel Griffiths on Sesame Street

The 41st season of Sesame Street premieres on ABC2 this Monday 2nd May at 8.30am, and includes an appearance by Rachel Griffiths (Brothers and Sisters).

Griffiths is featured in a ‘Word on the Street’ segment as she explains to Elmo and viewers the concept of a dozen.

The 41st Season will also feature:

* Celebrity appearances by Academy Award-nominated actor, Jude Law; Golden Globe Award-winning actors Colin Farrell, Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman; Grammy Award-winning artists Will.i.am, and Usher; Modern Family’s Julie Bowen; and Grey’s Anatomy’s Ellen Pompeo to name a few

* Parodies including: “True Mud,” a take on popular series, True Blood; “The Furry Four,” a humorous take on The Fantastic Four; “The Closer,” a parody of the tv show The Closer.

* Three newly commissioned films with NASA, where kids explore the wonders of space as an astronaut in orbit at the International Space Station presents letter and number of the day segments.
