Blogs are bad m’kay?
DON’T BE AN INTERNET CELEBRITY
It’s six years since YouTube began in 2005, and in that time we’ve seen plenty of ordinary people rocket to worldwide viral video fame. But becoming an overnight Net Celeb can have a downside. Hungry Beast’s Lewis Hobba examines the fate of some of the people who became YouTube stars, and finds it’s not always champagne and double rainbows.
OBSOLETES ANONYMOUS
Remember the days before Google? When Yahoo and AltaVista slugged it out for Search Engine Supremacy? Remember the days when MySpace was the King Of Social Networking? This series of sketches from the Hungry Beast team takes a humorous look at some of the Internet’s obsolescent hereos.
Plus regular Hungry Beast segments: Beast File, Vox Pops, Follow The Money and Stuff Said.
Hungry Beast is presented by Monique Schafter, Dan Ilic, Kirsten Drysdale and Nick Hayden.
It airs Wednesday 18 May 9.30pm ABC1.

manage = manager
Many years ago I showed my manage the Hotbot search engine, which was my preference… she later told me she went to show her husband but accidentally recalled it as “hotbox.com”, which turned out to be something rather different! Her hubby’s response was “what exactly do you do at work?” lol
I agree with Jason, the first series of Hungry Beast disappointed me, and I didn’t even bother with series 2, but I am finding series 3 to be really interesting. Looking forward to this episode.
David you might want to update your pic, not to sound too much like an Apple geek but that mouse is over 10 years old. lol
I criticised the show in the beginning, but I guess they must have listened to peoples criticism as their show has come of age.
