Left, Left, and more left.. *yawn*… I’m off to watch the Bolt.
Make sure the water glasses have grips, so Shorten does not do a Swan

Less polititons please,
+++
Indeed. polititons are, in my view, a blight on the landscape. They clog waterways, like fat frogs and, generally, cause strife and distress among thinking, civilized members of society. However, as an ancient Greek thinker stated, most famously: Politics is life.
You can confirm this by reading a book. Start with Plato. So, we have to live with politicians and all their human foibles. It’s called democracy.
We are blessed in Australia with two brands of politics. One represents the dark, racist underbelly of Australian society. The other major brand has a heart.
But I do agree with your eloquent sentiments … polititons, like carp, must be removed from our waterways, our byways, quarries, our public highways, private gardens, citrus groves, barbecue areas and, most importantly, my shed! True dinks.
Thanks for your insight.
Yet again, a prime gig for the extreme right-wing nutter from the Institute of Public Affairs. Yawn. Which ABC board string was pulled to ensure a soapbox for that disturbed individual? He is a sick puppy.
What will be interesting is if Bill Shorten fumble and mumble and generally look uncomfortable any less than his previous Q&A appearances
Eric Abetz and John Roskam along with a climate action kid….I can see it now and it’s not pretty.
Less polititons please,
I agree PT… No -one ever changed their opinion as the result of losing an argument so what is the point?
Q+A satisfies those who watch the show with a pre-existing opinion. Anyone who is open minded, comes away totally confused.
@ PT Ryan.Thats pretty simplistic. Big Ideas (Radio national, abc2) may be more your cup of tea but there neads to be be a place where ideas can be contested.
And yet again, the whole panel is arranged so that all the participants will be diametrically opposed and thereby get each other (and the audience) angry. I’ve said it before and I’ll it again, Q & A is just Jerry Springer for pseudo-intellectuals.
