GO’s new late night show Uplate! begins this week.
Hosted by Shura Taft, James Kerley and Natalie Garonzi the half-hour show begins at 11:40pm Thursday night featuring music, entertainment, competitions and comedy.
Filmed live in front of an audience in the very cool and underground Mink Bar of the Prince of Wales Hotel, St Kilda, Uplate! is an exclusive backstage pass to what we’re watching, wearing and listening to, where we’re going and who we’re going with. .

Boy this one really has a Nine stench all over it! I bet they eventually will roll out all the imbeciles they had doing a Nine classsic “quizmania” for this garbage
Interesting piece of information it’s only “Filmed Live”, not actually aired live. It’s being filmed tonight.
Where is Nikki Osbourne.
@Mangadude, Nikita will be on this Sunday July 10 at 11.30pm.
They should have got Hotdogs to host it.
Can’t possibly be as bad as ‘psychic reading’ i stumbled across drunk one night on gem
These sorts of late night shows never work, any one remember the annoying NightCap on 7HD in 2008.
I give it about a week before it is given the door.
I give it two weeks, then replaced with South Park repeats.
@ craig…..that was a good try at being funny!
Why so late? Why not start it at 10.30pm?
Hopefully the mention of competitions doesn’t meean it soon turn into a glone of those various midnight quiz shows that thankfully got the chop after 6 months or so.
Remember when that was all that was on from 12 – 3am, back before multi-channels took off?
It looks alright. Might give it a try coz i support first run aussie content on the multichannels.
Could be a tester for Big Brother uplate.
So what happens to Nikita?
Hmmm Psychic TV or Uplate! What a choice! David I just did a search here on Psychic TV but nothing came up. I stumbled across it last night. It surely was one of those strange late night live tv moments.
Haha! Awesome idea, Craig. Frankly, the scheduling changes would be more palatable if we were given more notice and if they were better communicated (TV guides, notices to major Aus TV sites like this, FB, Twitter, etc).
Reminds me of Big Brother: Uplate with Mike Goldman
I didn’t realise people were unaware of what they were watching, wearing or listening to et al…
Thank goodness for a show as cool and underground as this one to tell us.
What Nine/GO!/GEM needs is a daily show called “Update!” to let viewers know of programing changes they do each and every day on the network 🙂
