FremantleMedia Aus CEO adds AsiaPacific role

FremantleMedia Australia CEO Ian Hogg has been appointed to the company's newly created position of CEO, Asia Pacific.

FremantleMedia Australia CEO Ian Hogg has been appointed to the newly created position of CEO, Asia Pacific, responsible for the overall management and business performance of all of FremantleMedia’s production operations in Australia and Asia.

He replaces Patrick Schult who gave notice earlier this year to pursue new interests, effective immediately.

Hogg, who joined FMA in September 2009, has 25 years in television, including previous roles in Asia as CEO at World Sport Television and in founding production company Theatre Red in Singapore.

Simon Spalding, Regional CEO, Europe and Asia Pacific, FremantleMedia, said: “We are very pleased that Ian will be extending his successful leadership of FremantleMedia Australia to take on responsibility for our thriving Asian businesses. We see enormous potential for the Asia Pacific region and Ian brings a unique combination of experience and expertise that combines knowledge of both the region and our company.

“He is perfectly placed to continue to build on our significant creative and commercial strengths in Australia and across Asia,working with our local partners and our wider international network. We look forward to him steering the company through its next stages of development in the region”.

He will continue to be based in FremantleMedia’s Sydney office.
