  1. I suppose you can’t blame them Hamish and errr, the other guy. What I’d like to know, is how can I get in touch with the half wit that paid for the show! Mate have I got a deal for you. I can be 10 times as funny as Hamish and Andre, and I’m cheaper. And if your not interested in me, well I’m sure you’d be interested in some magic beans I have. The only thing the Hamish and Angus does, is to prove that failure can be profitable for some. ……….those saxaphone players, like, wow that was a stroke of genius.———- stoopid brain———-

  2. I really didn’t see the problem with this. It was classic Hamish & Andy. A bit slow to start, but it’s their first show, you cant blame them. Those that watched the show expected more because of who they are. Give it another week or 2 and they will be at their best!!

  3. ………..ar yeah, ….well, enjoy watching Hamish on Spicks and Specks, very quick wit? well he’s comes out with the right line most times. Never heard him on the radio. Only due to Spicks and specs I watched their show. I watched up until the catfish catching. Couple of snickers, but the start was poor. Who the hell is Andy??? Hamish struggled with being funny, while Andy just sat their being an Andy. The start was poor. I thought it might my age creeping in but my 10 year of and 14 years old thought it was “crap”. ……………………………….

To top off for your next show, you should get Andrew Johns and, Shane Warne to also host the show with a special appearance from Pauline Hanson. Fair dinkum form what I saw the show was sad. PS Who was the lunatic that gave the thumbs up for that crap, can you email me their contact details, Have I got some stuff for them.

  4. Haha, it wasn’t that bad for their first time doing a late-nightesque television programme. Sure, they probably made a few poor choices with the set, the band, the desk, the interview space… but its an experiment. They were also incredibly nervous, but their inexperienced at this sort of thing, it’ll come with a bit more time. Reminded me a little of seeing the first episode of Fallon a few years back, and how much of a struggle it was to watch. Though he had forever to get better, H&A only have nine weeks.

You also have to take into account that no late night show has ever had two hosts before, so it felt a bit awkward and untested; but I think they’ve got that charm.

They really need a proper studio, some proper suits and a proper production team behind them. Giving them total creative choice was the wrong choice.

I’ll tune in next week though 😀 The Neil Patrick Harrison Ford bit had me in stitches.

  5. Started watching Gap Year – lasted 20 minutes. Unfunny – badly written material. Forced bonhomie – audience looking a little stunned and mystified at some of the Gap’s misfired humour. Hand-drawn placards just looked like Mr Squiggle, but without his nose for talent.

When will Channel 9 stop pushing low quality talent on to Australian screens. Surely we can do better than this?

  6. Another dry uneventful program that was unpolished – Poor production design. Hamish and Andy struggling in there oversized set with poorly written jokes. The echo from the lack of laughter, at times seemed forced. I was looking forward to this programme but unfortunately it fell well short of what I would call entertainment. When will the Australian networks understand that they actual have to put some thought into their programmes

  7. This will rate big, but for people who are not fans of Hamish and err… the other bloke, there is a good chance that when it does rate well, ch9 will go into overkill mode and their careers will be ruined. Just look at Top Gear.
