Just minutes after Kerri-Anne signed off on Nine today, Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies ran an advertorial parody directed at winning over new viewers.
“Feeling lost, let-down, no-one to turn to?” asked Emdur.
“For a limited time only, all former Kerri-Anne viewers can sample The Morning Show for free!” added Gillies.
“If you turn us on and we don’t turn you on for 90 days then stop watching and you won’t pay a thing!” said Laz.
Tacky? Cheeky? You decide….

If anything they are making more fun at themselves… “we have a couch and a coffee table”. Thought it was a nice bit of fun. I am sure KAK would have enjoyed it as well. You do not get far in morning TV if you take yourself too seriously. Lighten up people.

Genius stroke! For those that can pull their head out of the a*ses for 2 seconds, it’s not an insult to Kerri Anne, it’s a tribute! It’s more of a dig at the instability of Nine and their disrespect for loyal viewers. In all honesty I’d say the Kerri Anne tribe will make their way over to TEN (Sorry Larry and Kylie).

@nada – “the fact that 9 management allowed it shows how callous they are,anyhow who watches morning tv”. Well, obviously not nada, as it was on channel 7. Channel 9 had nothing to do with it.
Word is KAK has seen it and loved it.
Now if more “comedy” and “satire” shows were as well done (thinking Good News Weak (no typo)/World, e.g)…
it was lame, but funny and Ellen did a simalair thing on her show when Oprah was finishing up. all though the Morning show may have rated better, Kerri-anne took down Bert, David and Kym, then along came the circle and changed everything.
Kerri-anne will be back next year you can guarantee, she is very popular and everyone loves her, and if it isnt with 9, theres a spot vacant on the circle couch.
