ABC2 is set to film a live performance of Sydney Theatre Company’s Wharf Revue to screen on Christmas Eve.
Written and created by Jonathan Biggins, Drew Forsythe and Phillip Scott, all three appear alongside Amanda Bishop.
The annual revue has become something of an institution in Sydney and this year only single tickets remain for its STC season.
Expect political mayhem, merciless musical stabs and unforgiving impersonations.
You have been warned (and so have the pollies!).

Are they televising live? We don’t want another Tim Minchin audio disaster please ABC!
No.
Saw the first outing of this years revue at Gosford on opening night – absolutely brilliant.
What a clever move by ABC to record it for many more to see. Hope this tradition (the revue and Auntie broadcasting aussie theatre) continues.
I was hoping they would take the show to Melbourne, like they did earlier this year
It’s coming to Melb in March. Well Moonee Ponds and Nunawading anyway!
Excellent! I will look forward to this.
