not impressed with coverage for country viewers what is wrong with abc
January 2, looking forward to today’s coverage, but doesn’t appear to be on ONE after all – what gives? I went out and missed the Aussies match, was hoping for a replay today too!!!
8pm Hopman Cup.
Can you please tell me who has the Hofman Cup on. We are in the country and dont get many channels..
One.
Yes thanks for the brilliant cover, Not. regional viewers have missed out again, and no set top box will help us!
What about those in rural areas where the only digital coverage is ABC and SBS?
How do we get to see the Hopman Cup now?
I guess you should ask ABC who relinquished the rights after 2010. TEN was only able to salvage a deal after ABC gave it away.
Joanne,
If you go to Centrelink you can get a set top box for free.
Although by the time you get this done maybe the whole
tournament will be over 🙁
@Joanne, there is a government subsidy for pensioners to get a set top box. You need to just apply for it.
@Pete – According to the guides, Perth/Adelaide/Brisbane will get delayed coverage
Joanne,
You need to get an HD set top box. They cost under $100 now.
We appreciate your effort in broadcasting this tennis event. Everyone in my family loves it. We don’t have Foxtel or All-star and will never go for it because we’ve already had a Chinese satellite TV.
As a pensioner, one of my main forms of free entertainment is watching tennis on free to air TV. I don’t have HD . Is this the only way to see the Hopman Cup?
Yes.
Love this tourney!
Is Anthony Hudson hosting again, or is he now only working for Foxtel?
@Jay: that is sad. Ten (and One) had been the only Australian home of the NBA before pay TV came along, and it looks like the sport will stay with pay TV forever.
@DansDans
ONE released that information about 2 weeks ago on there Facebook page. 🙁
@Big V – ONE dropped NBA rights? since when??
will it be live for perth viewers?
Something to smile about for ONE after they dropped the NBA rights! Worth watching and will Packer’s friends at Fox Sports will also broadcast the event?
I assume this is going to be live on One and delayed on Ten for Perth viewers?
Are they showing all of it? Will it be live into WA?
Thank you ONE for picking up the Hopman Cup. It’s a great tournament and i love watching it. You get to see a lot more of the players personality in this tournament, and they always seem to have more fun playing.
