Hands up who wants a Reality series starring socialite Brynne Edelsten?

News Limited reports networks are looking over a possible series starring the wife of former medico Geoffrey Edelsten.

Brynne Edelsten, who has already appeared on Dancing with the Stars, is understood to have appeared in a Reality pilot. Media reports claim she turned down a role on the first series of Celebrity Apprentice in preference for her own series, now under consideration by Nine and Seven. Or so it’s claimed, anyway…..

Edelsten was good value in DWTS because like all good Reality shows it placed her in situations that weren’t under her control. Celebrity Apprentice would be a better fit than an entire Jessica Simpson / Kim Kardashian clone for that very reason.

Then again Seven could just run her hosting of The Morning Show in primetime again and see if it gets a Logie nod for Best Comedy.

  5. No matter what you armchair critics say, if this goes ahead it will rate very well. Brynne is a breath of fresh air and seems absolutely lovely.

  6. TVs already gone to shit so this wouldn’t be surprising at all. And sadly people will watch it. And even more sad, networks like Seven and Nine are that trashy they would actually play it.

    I’m with HTFU, tv in this country is goin downhill. We’re turning out more and more trash that we see on American tv. Seven’s Please Marry My Boy, Celebrity Apprentice, Nine’s fat celebrity show, and now this. just gets worse and worse

  11. Im not sure whats worse. A Lara Bingle reality show or Brynne. I can imagine Brynne. It will be she is out shopping and will buy a $200 pair of shoes, she will dress her dog Juddy up in his suit and go out in her car then she may stop and have some botox. She has said she has had botox so I can say that. No way I wont be watching.

    Look Im not a Kardashian fan but at least they put work into buying a clothes store and actually work there.

  12. Heard an interview with Brynne on the radio with Kyle & Jackie O on Wednesday evening and she was talking about her reality show. I could not believe what i was hearing.

  13. I love Brynne, she is a breath of fresh in an industry full of hot air. She reminds me a little of Anna Nicole Smith and we all know how that ended up but i think Brynne is smarter that we give her credit for, bagging a snazzy husband and making a splash as a social indentity in a strange country. I think she could do Celebrity Apprentice and have her own reality show, i’d watch just for the frocks alone!! And i’ve heard talk she’s even doing a single aswell!!! Brynne for a Gold Logie!

  14. is this the way the standard of Australian TV is headed?? Lets can Rush and give Brynne her own reality show,I have grave fears for where Aussie TV is headed. I wonder if we all ignored these people that are famous for being famous would they all just dissapear,cmon lets give it a go

  18. Does this woman realise 99% of Aussies can’t stand her and wish she’d go home ?
    Perhaps she should read the comments on the Herald-Sun or any other paper when a story appears about her.She’ll be in for a shock,assuming she can read.
