The 69th Golden Globes will air live in Australia on FOX8 Monday, January 16.
Outrageously hosted by Ricky Gervais once again, it will begin at 11am AEDT with the Red Carpet.
The Ceremony begins at 12 midday.
Tune in to see the glitz and glamour of the 69th Annual Golden Globes. Seen in more than 160 countries worldwide, it’s one of the few award ceremonies that include both television and motion picture achievements.
Last year there was no FTA broadcast of the event, and it isn’t clear if there will be any this year either.
With Ricky back behind the microphone, this will be must-see TV, folks!

Why can’t be see the Golden Globes, Academy Awards, etc on ‘free’ TV anymore ?
Not everyone has Pay TV especially in these financial times when we are cost cutting.
Oscars will be on Nine but otherwise Pay TV buys titles like any other network. They have been great at giving Aussies live awards.
I watched his 2011 exploits on Youtube last night. Havent LOLed that loud for a long time!!! Not only does he go where no one else dare go… but his timing and delivery are perfect. I wonder who will be in the firing line this year…
Love it. Ricky is a one-man firing squad on the Hollywood elite. Bring it on!!!
I loved Ricky last year – Can’t wait to see what he has instore this year!
thanks for the headsup for the SAG awards @mikey!
Two other award shows screening on Foxtel in January are:
Critics’ Choice Movie Awards on Starpics 13/1/12
and
Screen Actors Guild Awards on TV1 30/1/12
The Emmys did well for TEN after they’d been shown live on PayTv. Maybe you could start another campaign, David. It worked for the site last time
Yeah, YT4Me2. You’d think that this would do alright on commercial FTA and would be a good fit for Eleven. The Ten network can’t do much worse than they have been. Maybe the asking price is too high?
Dammit! I can’t get Pay TV!! Looks like it’s waiting for YouTube once again…
