Screen Actor’s Guild Awards 2012: winners

Mary Tyler Moore receives a Lifetime Achievement award at the SAG Awards. Here are the TV winners...

Screen Actor’s Guild Awards were held today in Los Angeles and screened live in Australia on TV1.

Mary Tyler Moore received a Lifetime Achievement Award, introduced by Dick Van Dyke. Both received a standing ovation.

SAG President Ken Howard also confirmed a merger with the other US Actor’s union AFTRA will be put to a member vote.

I know it was out of TV1’s hands but for anyone who hasn’t already seen the complete second season of Boardwalk Empire and was watching this might be pretty angry regarding a spoiler in Steve Buscemi’s acceptance speech where he made a joke referring to a crucial plotline that hasn’t aired here yet.

  2. Good to see Jessica Lange winning, she was great in American Horror Story, and Betty White still winning awards at 90 years old, I bet she would never had thought that would happen back when she started on TV.
