The cast of Community are all returning -even including Chevy Chase.

Deadline reports Sony Pictures TV has picked up the options on all actors for the next season.

“I probably won’t be around that much longer,” Chase said in an interview with the Huffington Post in April, following a public feud with creator-executive producer Dan Harmon.

But it was Harmon who was replaced with new showrunners, David Guarascio and Moses Port.

The series recently won its first major award at the recent Critics Choice Television Awards, winning best comedy series.

  1. 3 seasons and a boycott. I can’t see season 4 (even cut down to 14 eps) being anywhere near as great with new show runners, especially when all the fabulous writters seam to have been fired as well.

    Where do I get a team Harmon shirt?

  2. The so should have gotten rid of Chase and get Dan Harmon.

    Chase’s character is ultimately the weakest and unnecessary of the bunch. To keep him instead of the shows mastermind… WTF???

    Especially for a show such as this, where the creativity behind the scenes is so much of its success.

    I love this show, however I have such little chances that this decision hasn’t doomed the show.

    Chase has a name. The show has a core following but doesn’t rate huge. It just seems the executives have weighed up the factors behind the shows moderate success wrongly. Ignoring why the show has a massive cult following. Which in the long run will be all the show has.
