10 Comments:

  1. Going by Sam Lane’s tweet (@SamJaneLane), Before The Game is on TEN in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth 8:30-9:30pm and on ONE HD in Sydney, Brisbane 10:30-11:30pm.

Personally I’ll be PVRing BTG and watching the Marngrook Footy Show on ABC2, makes more sense to me to watch the ad-free show and PVR the one with ads so I can skip them.

  2. I’m happy “Before the Game” moves to Thursday 8:30pm on TEN it’s a great show and i think it will do good on Thursday night.
The footy show on Nine is the same old stuff it’s really boring to watch

  3. Didn’t even realise before the game is moving to Ten 8.30 thursdays, i thought it was on one but i’m glad their have given it the respect it deserves cause its a dam good show. Don’t know whether its in all markets?

  4. Being Lara Bingle had a ratings dive as we all knew it would. It will wind up on Eleven within a month. I am very perplexed by this show as I honestly do not think there is huge public interest in her at this time as she is not doing all that much. She is very polarising and a figure of some scorn to the general public. If she was still engaged to Michael Clarke, I imagine there would be some curiousity factor there but on her own, she is simply not interesting. A very strange commission, this show.

  5. Hi David, can you please explain the low numbers for all of 9’s programs from Perth. This does not only relate to news & accurent affairs but all programs. It appears
Perths figures go against melb. syd & bris.
    in relation to all shows?
Perths figures make up a large portion of 7’s
    total.

    • Seven has dominated in Perth for years due to its cultural ties with the city, Kerry Stokes ownership, Perth Telethon, a local Today Tonight edition etc. Nine affiliate is also WIN-controlled in Perth, leaving Nine (East Coast) with no capacity to take charge of whatever problems it forsees. Seven’s dominance in Perth & Adelaide has long helped Seven to enjoy national wins especially in News and Current Affairs.
