Footy Show: Olympics challenge

The AFL Footy Show boys have been taking part in a series of competitive events, inspired by the Olympics.

The AFL Footy Show boys have been taking part in a series of competitive events, inspired by the Olympics, in a bid to be crowned the inaugural Footy Show Games champion.

The show will rest during the Games and return in August.

Guests tonight include Cats Captain Joel Selwood and Saints Star Brendon Goddard. James Brayshaw is already in London for Olympics commentating.

Week 1: Swimming: 50 – metre sprint taken out by Garry Lyon
Week 2: Archery: Billy Brownless took home the gold
Week 3: Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre to try their luck at show jumping: Shane Crawford finished first in a record time
Week 4: Rowing – Sam Newman was first over the finish line
Week 5: Final Challenge will be 200 metre sprint (tonight)

  1. Nine currently show the Friday night NRL games on Nine in NRL states, and GEM in AFL states? What happens for the two Fridays when the Olympics are on?
