Today I am launching a temporary new section dedicated to the Olympic Games.
This will contain information and Media Releases for the Games, as broadcast on both Nine and Foxtel and a Menu shortcut will also being added to the top of the site.
Some stories may also appear in the News section based on their level of importance, but I will endeavour to keep all Programming info, including any Daily Updates, in this section.
It may also include other Olympics related content on other channels.
As this is the first of its kind on TV Tonight, it will be something of a work in progress!
As with any show mentioned on the site you can also search for information via the Show Tag at the end of the story.
Let the Games begin!

Channel 9 coverage should be good. But i will be watching the action on Foxtel should be awesome
David- please be carefull when using the terms Olympics, 2012, Games, London, Event, Britain and sport…….
Great idea David! Though I can’t find the current guide for Nine’s Olympic coverage. My mum wants to know if ‘Days Of Our Lives’ is on or not during the two weeks!
Nine’s Guide is available for download in a separate post in this section thanks.
Days of our Lives is out.

Days of our Lives is out.
Great Idea, now I can avoid going to the Ch9 site all together…. lots of late nights ahead I predict.
I like this and I really hope to be posting positive comments about ch9s coverage. The coverage of the Beijing Games on 7 was awful, it was more about their personalities hogging the airtime as opposed to the sport…..get it right ch9 you have had long enough to plan….
David, what an outstanding idea. Above and beyond the call of duty.
I notice that there is some spare room at the end of that menu bar. Just enough to fit in the word “Motorsport”! You know you want to…
Thanks David,
You know what I’d really like? An actual guide from channel 9, as to what events they anticpate screening, at what time, on which day.
They could revolutionise Olympics coverage.
Nine’s current Guide is available here (see earlier story). There will be closer info on the day itself, hence part of the reason for adding this section.
