Returning: PGA Championship

This week as the 94th PGA Championship gets underway at Ocean Course at Kiawah Island.

The fourth and final major tournament of 2012 begins this week as the 94th PGA Championship gets underway at Ocean Course at Kiawah Island.

Desperate to put the disappointment of his finish at Royal Lytham and St Annes behind him, new world no.7 Adam Scott leads a strong Aussie contingent to South Carolina including young gun Jason Day, who returns to the major circuit after missing The Open Championship with the birth of his first child.

Tackling more seaside holes than they will on any other Northern Hemisphere course, players will experience anything up to an 8-club difference on some holes depending on the direction and force of the Ocean Course’s brutal winds.

FOX Sports will once again deliver Live and High Definition coverage of each round, beginning Friday (10 August) at 4.00am AEST on FOX Sports 1HD & FOX Sports 1.

Outside the ten Australians in the field, the world’s attention will once again turn to former world no.1 Tiger Woods, whose 15th major victory still eludes him after producing a year-best 3rd place finish at The Open Championship last month.

The man they will all be hunting is defending champion Keegan Bradley, who went from little-known to superstar in four days at Atlanta Athletic Club last year when he won the USPGA Championship in his maiden appearance at a major.

Live 4am AEST Friday Aug 10 – Monday Aug 13 on FOX Sports 1 / 1HD.
