Absolutely love your idea and just for the hell of it, when you’re running Channel Ten you’ll need a woman for women’s ideas so I’m your woman ;). Bring back The Circle would be my first job :))

  2. @ jezza the first

I’ll admit I’ve watched more SBS1 or even SBS2 in the past month than I have Ch 10. Also watched more Eleven and One (I don’t mind this ) . But I wish them luck and hope they remember to stick to sensible timeslots. Because the reason I found out about this site was due to the falling Supernatural figures on Ten. It was meant to start at 9.30pm Monday but was usually nearer to 10pm.

  3. italianguy1987

I think the only think CH 10 can do right now is to wipe the slate clean and start again?

They need to have shows that start either on the hour or half hour and finish on the hour or half hour. None of this 8.37pm finish or 7.02pm start for shows. People turn off if this happens.

They need to have clear, precise nights. The should do like Monday comedy nights, Tuesday criminal, Wednesday aussie drama, Thursday news, Friday lifestyle, Saturday night movie, Sunday reality

This would set them apart from other networks that have comedy all nights of the week or criminal shows every night.

They need to do this and bring viewers back. And even if a show isn’t rating well, leave it on! You’ve made a commitment to show these shows so keep them on. The viewers get angry when a good show they’ve wanted to see is advertised as coming on and then after 2 eps it’s gone.

This is what i’d do if i ran CH 10. Any thoughts?

  4. I am glad Howzat smashed CM in the ratings. Worst show on television IMO. I’ve watched six seasons of Dexter and that show doesn’t come close to the amount of violence and BS in an episode of Criminal Minds. Way too twisted.

Many people on other TV forums like TVLine and Entertainment Weekly agree

  5. jezza the first original one

Hey folks lets focus on the positive here. Ch10 did actually beat SBS and that is something for them to be proud of….they deserve it..

  6. The Ten brand is officially poison at the moment. That is unbelievable, a 6.6% share of one of the three commercial networks. The panic should really be setting in now.

[email protected], I agree with you. The plots are just way too violent, CM is an ordeal to watch. I simply can’t handle it, it is too gratuitously gory and sick.

  7. Dunno about you, but I’m getting turned off Criminal Minds this season because of the violence and gore in the story lines.

Mandy left after S1 saying he didn’t agree with the violence that was creeping into the plots.

Quite a few seasons under the sun since then, but I think he was right…

  8. bettestreep2008

Oh wow – can Ten sink any lower?

If they persist with MF and NCIS repeats on Tuesday, I am betting SBS will push the main channel to 5th.

GBTWYCF should easily outrate repeats of NCIS on Tuesday 8.30pm.

And even if they put a brand new ep on – I am sure many NCIS fans have just given up on Ten anyway.

    Same goes for MF fans.

  9. 6.6% for Ten. Damn. And NCIS got less than 384,000…that’ll teach you to change timeslots and yank it off air with 10 eps to go and wait months to finish. Same to Seven for Criminal Minds. It rates well Wednesday, why put it on Sunday?
