  1. Of course there is a Comments Policy here.

You are using a free site anonymously.

But that doesn’t afford anybody a god-given right to submit any detestable rubbish and not have some checks and balances in place. If you want to do that then publish it on your own blog, Facebook or Twitter. Or just use the site without commenting. By submitting a comment to this site it means you have read and agree to comply with Comments Policy. Thanks.

  2. “Don’t come Tracy we don’t want you here….” is not an opinion.

Tracy Morgan is a comedian. Comedians say and do a lot of things under the guise of comedy. Some of it bombs.

If you don’t like Tracy Morgan’s comedy, don’t listen to it, don’t watch him, don’t go to his shows. Simple.

I don’t condone the comments, but I certainly want him to have the right to say them. Just like I want everyone to have the right to response on an internet forum.

  3. Monk, I don’t understand how anyone (including you), could find those comments he made acceptable.

LGBT related issues are a big thing right now. So, for him to go and make humour out of it, by saying that he would stab his son for being gay (which is a choice, according to him), and that the teenagers who are bullied should stop winning, is absolutely disgusting.

At least 84% of openly gay teenagers are bullied. Gay teenagers are 2 to 3 times more likely to commit suicide, compared to straight teenagers. I don’t see anything humorous about that.

Also, for him to make humour out of disabled people is just plain stupid. Jennifer Aniston was criticised for using the word “retard,” so I’m not sure what he was expecting when he said something like that.

I assume the large majority of people wouldn’t want him here if they were aware of the comments he made.

It’s just not acceptable what he said, and for you to say they were, well, I really don’t understand that.

  4. I agree with necker.
I would have thought tracy would have learned the golden rule of comedy. You are only allowed to make jokes about “white christian males.”
a joke about anyone else, you’re automatically deemed a bigot, racist, homophobe, etc.
What i find truly annoying. Is how ppl say “we don’t want him here” Instead of “I don’t want him here.” Little bit tired of ppl speaking for me.
O and the term ” Downunder” is a little cringe worthy too

  5. @necker
Censorship ? People commenting here are just voicing their opinions. Surely you’re not opposed to that ?
I find Tracy’s character funny( the one that he has and seems to hide behind ), but those comments are offensive. And if you are going to say things like that, you should expect a backlash.

  6. Don’t come Tracy we don’t want you here anyone who makes jokes about disabled or gay people is sick I hope he is not allowed into Australia and if he is hope no one goes to his shows.

Sorry about that rant David but it just really annoys me when people make sick jokes like that

  7. Quote:

“being gay is a choice,” if his son were gay he would “stab him,” and that gay kids who are bullied “should stop whining about it.”

“Don’t ever mess with women who have retarded kids. Them young retarded males is strong. They’re strong like chimps.”

I don’t understand how anyone would wish to support him when he finds hate speech against disabled and gay people comedy.

  8. Love Tracy Morgan. He is funny, and always seems vulnerable and wears his heart on his sleeve. It’s a great combo. I’ve actually missed whatever the slurs were last year???
