You knew it was coming….

From today TV Tonight enters summer Hiatus mode.

This means the site will publish a morning news wrap Monday to Friday. There will be limited posts on weekends. Breaking news will still be addressed where warranted….

Please note there will also be delays to Comments and Ratings -your patience is appreciated during this time.

But fear not, there are still interviews planned plus features, reviews and more…

2012 has been a busy year with more Exclusives broken ahead of mainstream media. I was very chuffed to receive the People’s Choice Award in the Australian Blog Awards. Recently I was also included in The Age Melbourne Top 100 personalities for 2012 -much of this is due to reader and industry support.

In January the site turns 6, now with over 24,000 posts.

Meanwhile I trust you take time to vote in the annual TV Tonight Awards -thanks for all those who have already voted and left so many nice comments.

And I hope you have a great break too. Let’s do it all again next year!

  16. Well done David on a great year. From someone who does not work in tv but has genuinely had an high interest in Australian tv most of my life your site I a must see every morning. And even several times a day keeping up with the TEN disasters since July Congratulations on everything you have achieve the past 12 months and looking forward to it all over again in 2013.

    Your TV Tonight blog is a must for any TV fan! I really appreciate everything you do and hope that you do have a great break! I feel that the On Hiatus status means you should stop for a few days and I am amazed you will keep posting info every day! Thanks
