At the Movies is changing nights and timeslots next year.
The ABC1 review show will return in a new timeslot of 9:30pm Tuesday February 19th.
Margaret and David presented their final 2012 show last night, telling viewers about their new timeslot for 2013.
The first show back will reveal the viewers’ choice of the best film of the year.

Ultimately the day doesn’t matter, but it’s just funny how it signals the week is more than half over. Like a little milestone in the week.
“Movie show tonight… it’s not that time of the week already.”
Also would have liked to have the show remain on Wednesdays. But at least it’s half an hour earlier. Thats a better timeslot for me.

I kinda like it on a Wednesday as it reviewed films opening the very next day – giving it a sense of immediacy.
