This week on The Project, guests Jai Courtney, Jason Byrne and MasterChef’s Andy Allen.

Up-and-coming actor Jai Courtney joins us at the desk on Monday. With an impressive CV and a promising year ahead with feature movies including I Frankenstein and Die Hard 5, Jai has hit the big time in Hollywood in his starring role alongside Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher.

Lehmo has just returned from the Sinai, entertaining our troops. On Tuesday night, he will be presenting a special package of messages from the troops to their loved ones back home.

On Wednesday, we’ll cross to our US entertainment reporter Hyla to talk about his favourite 2012 moments and what we can expect in 2013.

Irish comedian Jason Byrne is our special guest on Thursday night and we’ll meet the cast of The Hobbit. We wrap up the week on Friday night with the 2012 winner of MasterChef Australia, Andy Allen, talking about his book, The Next Element, and we’ll cross to Hugh Jackman on the red carpet at the Sydney premiere of Les Miserables.

The Project Highlights Week will start on Monday, December 24, looking back at some of the best moments of 2012 but still with your fresh dose of daily news, before we return on Monday, December 31.
