V8SC shoots it in HD while 7mate broadcast it in SD. As V8s hasn’t been shot since 2011. ONE produces sport in HD content while 7mate or GEM doesn’t even come close tho this as I am referring to PVRs. So therefore I won’t watch it or even Bathurst as long as its shot in HD
People the recon Perth getting V8 on 7TWO Sunday is the V8 start 11 Perth time were the AFL is on from 12 Perth time on 7 MATE and 3 seven has AFLthat why V8 on seven two
@laurie – 7mate is a HD channel since day one. It was 7HD previously. Channel 7, 7TWO and TV4ME is SD.
@ Travis, correct, all of V8’s are filmed for HD and then downgraded SD for channel 7 or 7TWO unless it’s on 7mate where it stays native HD.
This is the same for Speed (SD) and Speed HD
I believe all the races are being filmed in HD this year so i expect this to actually be shown in HD finally.
@thepumpboy Since when has it been in HD !!
if you want to see it in HD then watch for a replay on Foxtel Speed HD
Thanks, David. V8 Xtra is on half an hour before qualy on Sat.
To clarify this. The reason coverage is spread across 7, 7TWO, and 7mate is due to our AFL coverage obligations. If this is unsuitable a replay will be available on 7 late evening.
What is the point of having it on 7Two why don’t you just leave it on 7 or 7mate. Now this is bad scheduling where is if TEN had it they will devote the coverage to the V8s unlike 7 who just throws it anywhere and the bad part is it wont be in HD again if TEN got it the rights it will be shown ONE in HD for replays or even Live coverage. So for me I will be watching NBL this Sunday on ONE
Wow what a muck around! Why not just always leave it on 7mate? At least then it’s in HD!
