Behind the Candelabra in cinemas before Pay TV
HBO's Behind the Candelabra is getting a cinema release in Australia before it hits small screens.

It’s produced by HBO but we won’t be getting Behind the Candelabra on television first, with the film set for a cinema release on July 11, 2013
This is well after the US premiere which was May 26th.
It also contrasts with recent HBO telemovies Game Change and Phil Spector.
Steven Soderbergh’s feature adaptation of Scott Thorson’s autobiographical novel Behind the Candelabra: My Life with Liberace recounts his tempestuous 6-year relationship with his much older lover. The hotly anticipated biopic features Michael Douglas as the celebrated musician and pianist with Matt Damon as Thorson.
No doubt it will screen on Foxtel sometime thereafter, fingers crossed with not too long a wait.

It’s a great movie, both Michael and Matt were fantastic in it.
