  1. P.S. I’m not saying make changes immediately or anything. But maybe keep it in mind possible next year. It is of course up to SBS on what it wants to do.

Since I probably won’t be seeing the news I might watch some shows more often. Although I’ll also be less exposed to SBS ads however too.

  2. I’m just an individual so I could be wrong but I think SBS viewers prefer documentaries on Sunday 8.30pm. I’ll admit I haven’t been too obsessive about the numbers but don’t they usually rate more? So SBS has a choice continue with this programme or maybe try it at a later time. Dateline airs at 9.30pm so it’s no disgrace.

I’ll also point out one time you mentioned The Observer Effect on the News that involved the Chief of Army and it rated around 80,000 overnight. Ita Buttrose wasn’t mentioned on the News and it rated somewhere around 130,000 if I remember correctly. So you’ve proven ads alone can work. I still don’t get why a commercial channel wants to undermine that. If you want me to speculate what happened this week. I think some viewers might have been lured by The Ashes.
