NITV forum on Indigenous issues

NITV is inviting members of the public to meet Federal candidates to discuss issues facing Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders.

This is the public’s chance to get hear the big issues facing Indigenous Australians in the lead up to the September 7 poll

Awaken has invited representatives from the country’s peak Indigenous organisations including NACCHO, NATSILS, SNAICC, Congress, NCIE, Cape York Inst etc. for a Q&A style forum, where participants can put their questions to those seeking to be the political decision makers.

They are also asking community members to send in video questions if they can’t attend.

The minister & shadow minister for Indigenous Affairs have also been invited.

An invite has gone out to the Prime Minister & Federal Opposition Leader but there has been no response yet.
