American Horror Story has revealed its spooky new title sequence for its third season, Coven, set in New Orleans.
This season the cast includes Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy, Evan Peters, Gabourey Sidibe, Angela Bassett, Lily Rabe, Taissa Farmiga and Kathy Bates.
“You have to watch it 10 times because every frame is a clue for what the season will be,” co-creator Ryan Murphy has said.
“And ever year it has a different tone, look and concept. By the last frame of the main title for Coven, you’ll really have an idea of what the last frame of the Coven season will be.”
As a show with buzz, I am hoping TEN fastrack it on TEN and not play it late on ELEVEN. Potential for a 9:30 offering?

If the last season was anything to go by, I think American Horror is a bit too full on for the main channel. Better off on 11.

This is going to be awesome! I can’t wait.
I saw it mentioned on Eleven as well. Although they have had precedent of moving something destined for Eleven onto Ten i.e. Beauty and the Beast. Of course it didn’t go well. But not all shows are the same. If I was a viewer I would prefer American Horror to remain on Eleven. Because it’s a nicer place.
I’m pretty sure I saw Eleven advertising this as fast tracked in an Eleven station promo.
Hmm…. Why does Lily Rabe’s name degrade away when all the others don’t?
