Australia’s Got Talent : Sept 22

Eight artists for the first Australia’s Got Talent Finals were announced last night after a mammoth culling of around 100 acts by the four judges.

Appearing this Sunday on the first Semi Final are:

Brisbane dancers: Swagamama
10-year-old singers from Sydney: Natalie and Julia
Melbourne roller skaters Chantelle and Benji
Queensland opera singer Louise Kennedy
12-year-old Melbourne singer Aydan
Sydney Ventriloquist Darren Carr
Sydney aerial gymnast and paralympian The Other Superman
Launceston dancer Scott Carnes

“It was near impossible to cull down our 150 acts to 40 plus. Some of the decisions really divided us, and I personally had to fight for a few of my favourites,” said Timomatic.

“But all in all, I really think we have picked the strongest acts in the country.”
