Video: BBC1 celebrates "Original British Drama" with a slew of impressive new titles.

The BBC has released a new trailer for its upcoming Autumn / Winter line up.
Included in this trailer are the third season of Sherlock, The Great Train Robbery from Chris Chibnall (Broadchurch), the second season of Ripper Street and new dramas By Any Means, The Escape Artist, What Remains, The Musketeers and Quirke.
Aside from Nine’s Sherlock and TEN’s Ripper Street it’s probably too soon to indicate where all these dramas may fall on our screens, especially given the new BBC drama channel coming to Foxtel in mid 2014.

Great news that all these new series will only be available on Foxtel! 🙂
The internet isn’t at its best right now so I’ll try later to watch it. Thank you David for this.
As for the ABC snapping up the dramas. I wish them the best. However I hope they consider playing stuff shown on Pay TV on Free to Air. Not everyone is into I must watch it now syndrome. Or at least not with everything. I can’t watch because I hate being insulted all night by the same channel. But I’m sure many others would appreciate it.
I wondered this- does the agreement Foxtel have start from a particular date? Can the ABC broadcast any drama made before that date after the Foxtel BBC drama channel start?
I’m sure ABC will try to snap up as much as they can before July 2014 when the new BBC Australia channel starts on foxtel
