The Project: Sept 23 – 27

Guests: Wendell Sailor, Mark Seymour and Arj Barker.

2013-09-20_2331Next Week on The Project guests are Wendell Sailor, Mark Seymour and Arj Barker all live at the desk.

The King of the Wing, Wendell Sailor, is our guest on Wednesday night. The versatile sportsman, representing Australia in both Rugby League and Rugby Union, was famously banned for testing positive to cocaine in 2006. Sailor is telling his own story with a new book, Crossing The Line.

Australian music stalwarts Hunters & Collectors will reunite for the halftime show at Saturday’s AFL Grand Final. Front man Mark Seymour joins us live on the desk to give us a sneak peak as to what fans can expect from the much anticipated performance.

Also this week, we get all the gossip from Monday’s Emmy Awards, celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Australia’s America’s Cup win and go in search of the most devout footy fans. Plus, Australia’s favourite American comedian Arj Barker.

Weeknights at 6.30pm on TEN.

  1. No. Barker has nothing to do with Token/Roving. However he is popular and spends a lot of time in Australia. Most U.S comics come into the country, do their shows and get out. They have often sold out in advance or aren’t here long enough to do publicity. Barker is touring nationally. He’s got a lot of tickets to sell so he would do a low/no paid gig like the project to plug his show.
