Leonie Lowe launches Lune Media

Former ITV Australia Managing Director Leonie Lowe has announced her new production company Lune Media, focussing on non-scripted content.

The company’s first commission, A Donna Hay Christmas, will air on the Lifestyle Channel.

“I’m delighted to launch Lune Media and continue my track-record of delivering outstanding television programming. This is an exciting new beginning in my professional life and I look forward to a wonderful journey,” she said.

“Donna is a wonderful talent and our format for this show will bring a new flavour to the way food styling and preparation is captured on television.”

Lowe has worked in the television industry for twenty years starting in 1988 in live events before moving to the Seven Network and various independent production companies.

She joined Granada, ITV Australia’s former incarnation, in 2002 with roles as Head of Production, Director of Production and as Acting CEO before being appointed Managing Director in 2006. After her resignation, Anita Jacoby was announced as her successor in August.

Lune Media will be located at Moore Park, Sydney.
