  1. @Johnson Perth has a new episode of Bones this Friday at 8.30pm so we will be back up to date with the rest of the country…

Haven’t seen any ads for it yet though so don’t know how anyone is supposed to know about it

  2. The X Factor is what drives Seven in the later part of the year and provides the lead-in to The Blacklist. NBC is using The Voice to boost The Blacklist and Castle in the same way in the US.

The longer X Factor finals would push The Blacklist till after 9:30pm and when that happened to Revenge it lost several hundred thousand viewers and momentum. The same thing happened when Ten showed Under The Dome an hour later for one week.

The Blacklist relies fairly heavily on momentum and Seven obviously doesn’t want to risk a fortnight between episodes. Though moving days is also a risk it will be on at 8:30pm, behind the X Factor so likely to find the same audience. .

  3. I kind of agree with deedeedragons why not just skip it for a week. Although not with the double episode idea. However either idea: moving it or skipping it carries risk. I also don’t like them messing with the Bones audience.

As an individual I might watch it. But I can be perfectly happy as a viewer with repeats if they are treated decently or exist. I’m just usually not the now, now, now type. Except maybe with Doctor Who because of some internet sites. So fear spoilers especially major ones. I would like to thank Seven for the repeats of The Blacklist and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I appreciate and feel happy about the way they’ve been treated.

  4. Seven confirmed tonight there would be a new episode this Sunday. A remainder is shown during every ad break. As for Bones, it will go on a three-week break in the US after episode 6. Due to Telethon, WA is 1 episode behind other states for Bones (and Castle), so Seven should use the period to show the new episode (with a repeat in other states) to allow WA viewers to catch up.
