The 2013 American Music Awards will take place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by Pitbull.

2013-11-21_0014The 2013 American Music Awards will take place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by Pitbull on Monday November 25th, broadcast at midday AEDT on FOX8.

Katy Perry will open the Awards with a highly anticipated reworking of ‘Unconditonally’ – the second massive hit from her new number one album Prism.

Performances by global superstars including Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Florida Georgia Line, Ke$ha, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, One Direction and Justin Timberlake will make this one of the biggest show stopping awards ceremony of the year.

American Music Award winning artist Jennifer Lopez will perform a tribute to music legend Celia Cruz and nineties female hip-hop supergroup TLC – who are best-selling girl group of all time having sold 65 million records worldwide – will mark their return to the AMA’s with a special performance. A yet to be announced guest of honour will join T-Boz and Chilli to celebrate former member Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopez who passed away in 2002.

Multi-Award winning Pop/Rap artist Pitbull will host the three hour music extravaganza live only on FOX8 on Monday, November 25 at midday (EDT) with encore screenings at 4pm (EDT) on Channel [V] (EDT) and 11pm on FOX8.
