Airdate: Henry & Aaron’s ABC2 Xmas Quickie

West Australian comedy duo Henry Inglis and Aaron McCann, who have previously produced online content, will have their first broadcast outing with Henry & Aaron’s ABC2 Xmas Quickie later this month.

This follows their digital short, Henry & Aaron’s Perfectly Adequate Christmas Special (2010), web series Henry & Aaron’s 7 Steps to Superstardom (2011), and It’s A Snap! (2012) which attracted more than 3 million YouTube views and the trio of Inglis, McCann and producer Lauren Elliott being signed with Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles.

Henry & Aaron’s first Christmas Special saw Aaron kidnap and torture Santa for giving him terrible presents each year. This year, “Aaron is kidnapped on Christmas Eve. His best friend, Detective Henry Inglis, knows that the elusive Yuletide Killer is behind it. Will he be able to save Aaron before the killer’s twisted game reaches its bloody conclusion?”

It airs as part of ABC2’s Xmas Quickies programming.

“All of our favourite comedy programs in Australia have been produced by the ABC, so we see it as the perfect home for Henry & Aaron. The boys and I hope to work with the team at the ABC for many years to come to produce some fresh, irreverent and original comedy,” said Elliott.
