Time Team‘s very own Tony Robinson returns for a second season of Tony Robinson’s Time Walks, one of the highest-rating series ever on History.
Tony Robinson’s Time Walks is produced by WTFN Entertainment, the 10 x 30 minute series follows him through the streets of Australia and New Zealand, uncovering the surprising hidden history that lies behind, below and above the places we walk every day.
In each episode, Sir Tony travels to a different postcode littered with colourful stories, digging deep to draw out the history of the past, including tales of crime, acts of bravery, eye-opening trivia and notable characters that have shaped the area.
The cities and towns explored in Tony Robinson’s Time Walks are, in order: Kalgoorlie, Launceston, Christchurch, Canberra, the Barossa, Wellington, Townsville, Parramatta, Geelong and Alice Springs.
In episode one, Sir Tony visits Australia’s ‘wild west’, Kalgoorlie, discovering the diamonds in the rough are the people who live there. The citizens of Kalgoorlie work hard, play hard and live hard, proudly sharing their unique stories with Sir Tony during his visit.

History really needs to go HD, ridiculous that they keep making these interesting new shows and then only showing them in SD
Good show can’t wait for the Alice Springs one, grew up there.
Disappointing.
I was looking forward to a Time Walk around Wellington in NSW.
