  1. I was expecting the announcement this morning, after Seven checked Revenge’s ratings bounced back from the low figures for S2 (they did), but Seven were confident enough to start advertising The Blacklist on Wednesday last night.

It’s a fairly big gun for Wednesday night. Its overnights dropped to 1m in December but that was probably affected by Summer. It won’t rate as well on Wednesday in a ratings battle as it did on Sunday’s in October though.

By my reckoning Seven should have a pretty solid block of 12 episodes to run which could make things tough for Arrow. But Ten too have been relying on the other networks not having top ratings shows going as deep in the week as Wednesday so they can show stuff like Offspring, PB and Wonderland.

  2. @ MM, I’m in concurrence with you.

@ 2paw, well said. In my sincere belief, episode 11 is the strongest episode to date. By the ending of the episode, I was pleading for more.

“The Blacklist” is the finest innovative network television drama in many years and is a phenomenal show. James Spader is the man.

  3. The Good Samaritan appeared on my Apple TV on 27th January and so I have already seen it. I thought it was a bit strange it appeared early. It was an excellent episode.
