Arvo TV dealing in big dollars

Afternoon TV continues to give away the big bucks.

Yesterday Hot Seat hit the $26 million mark in the amount of money it has given away.

Meanwhile relative newcomer Million Dollar Minute gave away another $212,000, with 52 year old Mike Brooks correctly answering the final question: “Which composer wrote only one opera?”

“I instantly knew the correct answer was ‘Beethoven’ and in my head I thought ‘Oh my god, I’ve just won the $200,000 jackpot,” he said.

He is the fourth contestant to win the $200,000 jackpot since the show began last year, plus an additional $12,000 in “safe money.”
