I’m going to miss the characters from PLM now that Series Two has finished. I hope Debra Lawrance reads the comments on TV Tonight from time to time — she is glorious as Rose and deserves to know how highly regarded she is by fans of this sweet little show.
Lovely wistful episode.
Something everyone should plan to do once in a while – take quality time out like this with a significant other.
Stunning scenery as well.
Agree with @cronker about how perceptive and insightful Josh is for someone so relatively young.
Definitely an old, wise head on young shoulders.
I’ve been late to this show, but was intrigued by the very polarising thoughts from contributors on this site.
I don’t think, from what I’ve seen so far, that this is supposed to be a comedy. It’s very observational.
I’m very impressed that someone as young as Thomas could write an episode like tonight’s two handler.
The dialogue was very natural, the topic was challenging, and it gave some deep insight into both the mothers mental illness as well as how (perhaps) it is manifesting itself within the son.
Very well done.

This episode tonight was fantastic, and I didn’t think they could top last weeks. Brilliant show.
