Vic Election: People’s Forum

SKY News Political Editor David Speers will moderate the only People’s Forum to be held during the Victorian State Election, with both Premier Denis Napthine and Opposition Leader Daniel Andrews.

A select audience of 100 undecided voters, sourced independently by Galaxy Research, will put their questions to both leaders at an event in Frankston.

“Our People’s Forums were a huge success at last year’s federal election. They provide a unique opportunity to see the two leaders interacting with each other and an audience of undecided voters. It’s completely unscripted and the questions unfiltered. I believe it’s an important way of helping voters decide who is best for the job,” said Speers.

Coverage will commence with PM Agenda at 4pm AEDT anchored by David Speers.

SKY NEWS Melbourne Bureau Chief Ahron Young will preview the People’s Forum from 6.15pm AEDT with Herald Sun state politics editor James Campbell and Herald Sun national political editor Ellen Whinnett.

Following the forum, David will join Ahron to analyse the leaders’ performances with Herald Sun business commentator Terry McCrann and Herald Sun columnist Susie O’Brien.
