International broadcasters have acquired an animated kid’s series which will air in Australia on Nine.
Buzz Bumble, aimed at six to 12-year-olds, follows the backstage antics of a bumblebee and his blowfly buddy as they perform in a cardboard theatre.
Blue Rocket Productions in Tasmania and Criya VFX Studios in India have produced the series which has been sold to Pop in the UK, Zoom in Israel and TVNZ in New Zealand .
Francesca Newington, head of children’s channels at Sony Pictures Television’s (SPT) CSC Media Group, which operates Pop, said the toon’s “silly slapstick comedy” would make it a hit with viewers.
No airdate for Australia has yet been announced.

It’s aired in Australia though, pretty sure I saw it a few months back on GO!
Sounds great!
