Drama competition looking for next global hit

If you have a script for a one-hour drama series you think is worthy of global interest, a UK-based contest is being conducted by C21 Media -but includes entry from international writers.

Ten Script Competition finalists (five from the UK, five from the rest of the world) will be invited to pitch at the C21 International Drama Summit, which hosts up to 1000 of the world’s leading drama executives over three days at The BFI in London on 1/2/3 December 2015.

Two winners (one from the UK and one from outside the UK) will each receive development funding and assistance in taking their drama project to series, with unprecedented access to the global television drama market.

The international winner will receive US$10,000 commission with eOne.

Also includes:
* One week in the writers room of a drama series currently in production.
* Exposure of your script to the global drama business at the world’s leading three day International Drama Summit which takes place at the BFI in London on December 1/2/3.
*The scripts of the four runner-ups in the UK competition will be offered a first look option with Creative England eOne Venture.
*The scripts of the four runner-ups in the International competition will be offered a first look option with eOne.
