Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will guest host CNN’s global affairs program Amanpour.
Rudd is one of five special guest hosts this week to fill in for CNN’s Chief International Correspondent Christiane Amanpour while she’s on leave.
He will look discuss Cop 21 Climate Change Conference and talk to UN envoy Christiana Figueres.
He also speaks to former CNN International correspondent Stan Grant about his Aboriginal heritage and the struggles Australia is still having coming to terms with its past. This effectively turns the tables given Stan Grant interviewed Rudd on the Stolen Generations for NITV earlier this year (pictured).
This episode airs on Saturday August 29 at 1pm, 8pm, and midnight AEST.

The UN envoy will be lucky to get a word in edgeways.
Considering how many ex pollies Sky News has hired as contributors lately, perhaps Rudd is auditioning via CNN
